Note:   She was born in 1755 and baptized in 1775 per records extracted from the Chortitza Church records by Peter Penner (b. 7 Oct. 1851), but this is not consistent with her ages given in the 1808 and 1814 census in B. H. Unruh, p. 262 and p. 284. Schapansky incorrectly assumes that she married a Jacob Enns who is listed in the 1802 census at Rosenthal #26 (MFH, July, 1992, p. 115), but the 1802 census data indicates Jacob Enns was married to a woman named Aganetha at that time.
