a. Note:   He migrated from Prussia to Russia in June, 1795. In the 1801 Chortitza Colony Census he is listed at Neuenburg #20 and in the 1802 Census at Neuenburg #21. In 1803 he moved to Rosenthal (B. H. Unruh, p. 213). One record says he was born in Neunhuben, Prussia. One record says he was born 9 Jan 1756. One record says that he was first married on 29 Oct. Was Minister Of Chortitza Church, elected minister in 1797. Epp says he died in Rosental.
  He migrated from Hochzeit or Neunhuben, Prussia to the Chortitza Colony, S. Russia in June 1795 (B. H. Unruh, p. 263, 273; P. Rempel, p. 42). In the 1797 Chortitza Colony Census he is listed as having 5 males and 2 females in his family, but he is not listed in a specific village (P. Rempel, p. 53). In the 1801 Chortitza Colony Census he is listed at Neuenburg #20 and in the 1802 Census at Neuenburg #21. In 1803 he moved to Rosenthal (B. H. Unruh, p. 213). One record says he was born 9 Jan 1756. One record says that he was first married on 29 Oct. He was elected as a minister in the Chortitza Mennonite Church in 1797. Epp says he died in Rosental.
