Notes
a. Note:   In the 1776 W. Prussia Census he is listed in Petershagen with 3 sons and 1 daughter and was then a member of the Tiegenhagen Gemeinde. He later moved to Walldorf and was a member of the Rosenort Gemeinde. He migrated from Lakendorf, Prussia to Schoenhorst, Chortitza, S. Russia in 1789 (P. Rempel, p. 47; B. H. Unruh, p. 265). In the 1795 Chortitza Colony Census he is listed at Schoenhorst #21 (B. H. Unruh, p. 242) and in the 1801 and 1802 Censuses he is listed at Schoenhorst #24. In the 1803 Chortitza Colony Heads of Households List he is listed at Schoenhorst #21 (B. H. Unruh, p. 215). He apparently died between 1803 and 1805 as his wife had remarried to Peter Dyck by the time of the 1806 Chortitza Colony Census (P. Rempel, p. 47).
