Notes
a. Note:   C1887-A74 shows his given name as Gerhard Peter and gives the same birth, baptism, and death dates. Peter appears to be an addition in different handwriting, and may be interpreted as a revision to Gerhard rather than an addition to his given name. His given name is simply Peter both C1874-A184 and C1878-A194. The West Reserve Bergthal Church Register No.1, p.55 states that Peter and Henrijette came from Bergthal, South Russia and moved to Steinbach, Manitoba, Canada. George S. Unger says that he died 15 July 1888. Johann Epp says he died 3 Jun 1888. Troy Fredeen indicates that Peter died 15 Jul 1888 in Manitoba. Vitals say he died 18 Jun 1888 at RM of Hanover, age 75.
