Notes
a. Note:   The 1835 Molotschna Census lists him at Elisabethal #18, and says he came to Russia after the 1816 census, and came to Elisabethal in 1824. The entry for Margenau #41 says a Jacob Jacob Siemens moved away from there in 1824. Could this be the one? or perhaps his father? Immigration: According to Karl Stummp, The Emigration from Germany to Russia in the Years 1763 - 1862, p 196, Jacob Siemens migrated from Altmuesterburgerfeld, Grosswerder, West Prussia in 1818 to Elizabethtal, Molotschna. One source says his second marriage occurred on 4 May 1849. The Connie Franz submission says he was born 16 Apr 1795.
