Note: His o.s. birth date was 24 May 1849. FAM 376-311. After immigrating to Canada in 1876, Abraham moved back to Russia after some years to give their children a proper eduction. They built a new home in Russia, which was later used to store food during the hunger years. Their kitchen was also used to feed many people with relief food sent from U.S.A. and Canada. In 1891 they again sold their "Hab and Gut", and sailed to America with their two children, Peter and Anna. In April of 1912Abraham lost his first wife to asthma. Five months later he married Katherina. After one year and eight months of marriage to Katherina, Abram passed away suddenly of a heart attack in Rosthern, Sask.
