Mrs. Mary E. BRADWAY, 60, R.R. 2, Akron, a lifetime resident of the Akron vicinity, died at her home at 10:18 p.m. Tuesday after an illness of three years.
Born in Fulton county on Feb. 20, 1897, Mrs. Bradway was the daughter of David and Louisa SAYGER CLEVENGER. On May 16, 1916, she was married to Chester BRADWAY, who survives. Mrs. Bradway was a member of the Stringtown Friendship club.
Surviving besides the husband are two daughters, Mrs. Ray (Trella) COPLEN, Rochester, and Mrs. Pauline YEAKLEY, South Bend; six sons, Richard [BRADWAY], at home; David and Robert [BRADWAY], Akron; Willis and Dale [BRADWAY], South Bend, and Ray [BRADWAY], Kokomo; twenty-three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Edythe HEETER, Rochester, and Mrs. Lucy COBB, South Bend; two brothers, William [CLEVENGER], Indianapolis, and Walter [CLEVENGER], Rochester. Two daughters and a son are deceased.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. CST Friday at the Akron Church of God with the Rev. Harold CONRAD officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Hope cemetery at Athens. Friends may call at the Moyer-Haupert funeral home in Akron after 1 p.m. CST Thursday until the hour of services.
