HUDSWELL, beloved husband of the late Angelina Hudswell, in his 81st year. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at his late residence, 188 Carlton Av. at 8 o'clock on Tuesday evening, October 13.
  obituary: Brooklyn Daily Eagle - Tuesday Oct 13, 1902 p. 3 William Henry Hudswell Funeral services for William Henry Hudswell, who died Saturday of the ailments of great age, after a decline of about a year, will be held this evening at 8 o'clock at his late residence, 188 Carlton avenue. The officiating clergyman will be the Rev. Frank Heartfield, a nephew of the deceased, who is rector of St. Mark's Protestant Episcopal Church at Brewster, this state. The deceased was the first manufacturer of sealing wax in this country. He was born in London, England, December 11, 1822 and had resided in Brooklyn for forty-five years. His wife, who was Miss Angelina Camon, died about three years ago. Two years prior to that occurrence, Mr. and Mrs. Hudswell celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of their marriage. The deceased is survived by a son William Henry, jr., five daughters and nine grandchildren. The deceased was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and belonged to National Lodge. His remains will be interred in Silver Mount Cemetery, Staten Island.
