Notes
a. Note:   History : Ogden Quigley age 61 was found in the 1861 Sophiasburgh census, born NY If this is their son, it places their arrival in Canada at a date after his birth. Note: NY could be an error, poss. NJ E.C.W. does not name the children. It is not known whether Jane and sister Rachel came at the same time. Jane and Mary (Atkinson) wanted to bring their brother Abner's daughter Jane (born a.1794 and named for Jane Quigley,) to Canada. Her grandmother would not allow it. Children: QUIGLEY from 1861 Sophiasburgh census Note: There may have been other children who had already left home. i.e. Ogden 20 b.a.1841 , Richard D. 18- b. a 1843 Note: Though not impossible, it is unlikely that Betsy would have 3 children so close together when she was 40. 41 and 42 years old.
