a. Note:   Mrs. John H. Evans: A resident of Tillsonburg for the past 5 yrs. Mrs. Violet Evans of 44 Ont. St. Tillsonburg, passed away Sun. Oct. 18, at Tillsonburg Dist. Mem. Hosp., in her 65th yr. Deceased was born at Bancroft, Ont. on Mar. 26, 1900, daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. James Boumhour. She was a former resident of Hamilton. Surviving are her husband, John H. Evans; five daughters, Mrs. Merron (Jean) Magalis of Hamilton; Mrs. Merle Merlin of Calgary, Alta; Mrs. Larry (Gladys) Cote of Omaha, Nebraska; Mrs. E. (Joyce) Adams of Hamilton; & Mrs. Donald (Edna) Conklin of Calgary, Alta; four sons, Ross Evans & Roy Evans, both of Tillsonburg; Louis Evans of Hamilton; & Hughie Evans of Sarnia; three brothers, Howard Boumhour of Toronto; William Boumhour of Peterborough; Roy Baumnour of Bancroft; two sisters, Mrs. Edward (Charlotte) Tripp & Mrs. Nick (Mary) Tripp, both of Bancroft; & 10 grandchildren. Resting at the H.A. Ostrander & Son Funeral Home where service was conducted Wed. Oct. 21, at 2p.m. by Rev. O. Glen Taylor of St. Paul's United Ch. Interment in Tillsonburg Cem.
