Note: Andrew Adair was living in Granby, Hartford Co., Connecticut, in 1800. There were 2 adult males and 2 adult females living in the household. Presumably they were Andrew and his wife, and Andrew's son, James L. Adair, and his wife, Bathsheba. Both Andrew and James had purchased a house in East Granby at 64 East Street (see photo album). According to a partial title search "The purchase by Andrew Adair and James L. Adair is not in Granby Land Records, therefore was in the lost books. No Adair in the Simsbury Land Index Book 1 - 1600-1850". In 1805 "We, Andrew Adair and James L. Adair, both of Granby sold to Eli Gillet..." 30 acres for 600 dollars (part of the Adair property bordered a lot owned by Abram Dibel/Dibol (Bathsheba's sister, Theodosia, married Abraham Dibble).
