Will of Martha Collins of Kent County, Delawarewritten 7 March 184_probated 24 July 1849This is the last Will and Testament of Martha Collins of Mispillion hundred Kent County and State of Delaware.Item first- I will and direct that my Executor herein after named, shall first pay all my just debts and funeral expenses. And if my personal Estate shall not be sufficient for that purpose I will and direct that he shall have power to lease and let out my lands for such time as ____ as that the rents and profits in addition to the personal Estate will be sufficient for that purpose.Item second I give and bequeath unto my daughter Eliza now wife of James Johnson all my wearing apparel.Item third I give unto my daughter Sarah J. now wife of Levin Todd one dollar to be paid by my Executor.Item fourth I give all the rest and residue of my personal Estate to my son John A. Collins.Item fifth I give and bequeath unto my grandson (the name William is crossed-out) John Henry Coalscott, his heirs and assigns in fee simple, subject to the power of leasing herein before conferred on my Executor, all my real estate of which I may be seized at the time of my death.Item Sixth I hereby nominate and appoint my son John A. Collins to be the Executor of this my Will & I hereby revoke and annull all other and former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and declare this only to be my last Will and Testament.
