    1. Title: Newspaper Obituary
      Note: Mary Myers
Mrs. Mary Myers, widon of Gabriel Myers, passed away last evening at 7:30 o'clock at the Home hospital, her death resulting from the infirmities of age. Mrs. Myers was born in Pennsylvania on November 17, 1826 and came to Indiana 48 years ago. The family located in Perry township near Pettit, and Mrs. Myers continued to reside there until the close of her life. Mrs. Myers was a member of Zion U. B. church and was a woman of beautiful character. Her religion was exemplified by her daily life and she was loved and revered by all who knew her. She was a typical mother and was devoted to her home and family. She was charitable and had a kind word and helping hand for everyone. No woman in the community filled a higher place in the hearts of the people than did Mrs. Myers, and her death is regretted by all. She is survived by the following children: John H. Myers, of Muskegon, Mich.; Calvin Myers, of Monitor; William Myers, of Pettit; Mrs. Levi Shively, of Paoli, and Mrs. Jacob Sensenbaugh, of Pettit. Short services will be held at the home of her son, William, a mile north of Pettit, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. The interment will be made in the Geetings cemetery. Friends are requested to omit flowers.
