BIOGRAPHY: p. 267: "John Bobbitt lived on the banks of Pigg River until 1810 at which time he sold his land and moved to Montgomery County where he died alone in 1814. [His] descendants went to Amherst and to Grayson County, later some of his descendants went to Kanawha and Monroe counties."
