    "This indenture, made the fifth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand, seven hundred and ninety one, between Joseph Flauth and Mary, his wife, of Germany Township in the County of York and State of Pennsylvania of the one part and Patrick McSherry, Mathias Baker and Henry O'Hara, trustees of the Roman Catholic Congregation of Littlestown of the other part; whereas the honourable, the proprietors of the late province, now State of Pennsylvania, by their letters patent bearing date the 16th day of September which was in the year of our Lord one thousand, seven hundred and sixty, did grant and confirm unto a certain Peter Little, his heirs and assigns, a certain tract of land in Germany Township and County of York, containing three hundred and eleven acres and allowance asin and by the said patent recorded in the rolls office for the City and County of Philadelphia will fully appear; and whereas, the said Peter Little and Urzula, his wife, for the consideration mentioned in their deed under the hamds and seals, did bargain, grant, sell, and convey unto the said Joseph Flauth, his heias and assigns, a certain part of the tract of land aforesaid and adjoining the lots of Petersburg widow, Feiser and JOhn Knauff, containing one hundred and eighty four acres and allowance... Now this indenture witnesseth that the said Joseph Flauth and Mary, his wife, for the consideration sum of one hundred and ninety pounds in gold or silver money of Pennsylvania, to him the said Joseph Flauth in hand paid before the ensealing thereof by the trustees aforesaid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold, released, enfeoffed, confirmed and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, release, enfeoff, and confirm unto the said Patrick McSherry, Mathias Baker, and Henry O'Hara, trustees for the Congregation aforesaid, a certain house and lot of ground in Germany Township and County of York, lying on the westward of the road leading from Petersburg to Baltimore and bounded as followeth; beginning at the town alley adjoining Joseph Stealy lot and running southward with the great road aforesaid, seven perches and a half, thence northward seven perches and a half, then westward by the other land of Joseph Flauth sixteen perches, thence northward seven perches and a half to the alley aforesaid, thence with the alley eastward sixteen perches to the place of beginning, containing three quarters of an acre of ground, together with the house and stable and other improvements and the only use, benefit, behoof of the Roman Catholic Congregation of Littlestown forever and for no other use, intent, or purpose whatever, to be converted unto a Roman Catholic Church or Chapel and Burying ground for the congregation aforesaid, to be known and distinguished by the name of the Roman Catholic Church or Chapel of Littlestown and to remain for the use and purpose forever unless otherwise agreed upon by two thirds of the members of the congregation aforsaid..."
