I don't know if this is the Joyce you are looking for, but according to My Mother's family records there was a John J. Joyce who stated the 7-Up Company in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in June of 1846 to Michael and Margaret McDonough Joyce. He was one of 6 children. If this is the right Joyce let me know and I'll give the rest of the family names.

There is very little info about John J. of the 7-Up Co. in ther info I have from my Mother. However one of my cousins has Great Great Aunt Anna's diary and is going to send me the info about John J. and His family.
Hope this helps,
Thanks! According to my Cousin, Glenna Joyce was probably
John Joyce's daughter-in-law. She thought he had 6 kids ,but until she finds Anna's diary she won't know for sure.
