Cash, 74, of Lithonia, Ga., passed away on Nov. 28, 2005. Funeral services will be held today, Nov. 30, 2005, at Horis A. Ward\'92s Rockdale Chapel, with Rev. Claude Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. at East Ellijay Cemetery. Born to Floyd Berryman Anderson and Ruby Theo Payne Anderson, Edna Ruth Anderson arrived in this world on July 12, 1931 at the Gaddis family ancestral home, the Roundtop House in Pickens County, Ga. (now Big Canoe). Having lost both parents by age 15, Mrs. Cash resided for several years with her maternal grandmother, Mattie Gaddis Payne. She married Charles Anderson Evans Jr. in 1949 and moved to Atlanta. Following Mr. Evans's death in 1961, Mrs. Cash married Arthur Wilfred Cash in 1963. \par An independent spirit, Mrs. Cash chose to be a career woman at a time when most women were homemakers. She worked for the Internal Revenue Service for several years in the late 1960s. She then began working for H&R Block where she managed offices and worked in the Executive Tax Service branch. She went on to teach tax law courses at the community college and eventually went on to work independently as an accountant. For many years, she prepared income tax returns for members of the community gratis particularly for the elderly and young couples with limited incomes who she thought could benefit from her generosity. Although she retired in 1989, she maintained a keen interest in financial and economic issues and continued to stay abreast of news on Wall Street up to the time of her death. \par Despite her desire to be productive in the workplace, her first priority was always family. She is survived by daughters Barbara Bledsoe of Oxford, Kathi Jindrich, Judy Key, and Pamela Carter of Conyers; and step-daughter Alecia Nix of Conyers. She is also survived by seven grandsons, seven granddaughters, two great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by daughter, Elaine Evans Mooney, in September of 2005 and by husbands Charles A. Evans Jr. in 1961 and Arthur W. Cash in 1994. Horis A. Ward, Rockdale Chapel, 770-918-8851.}
