Rebecca was born in South Carolina, the daughter of Randolph Casey Sr. and ? Pennington. she married first to Erasmus Noble. They had a baby in 1797 and then Lucinda in 1799. Rebecca became a widow when Lucinda was very small and she married 2nd to William DePriest.
Her parents moved to Tennessee in 1800 and she probably moved with them. In 1802 she married William Depriest in Smith Co, TN.
They moved to Ind. (probably Orange Co.) when their children were small.
There Lucinda met and married Elijah Jolliff.
In 1819 they settled in Jefferson Co, IL near the rest of the Casey family. The Jolliffs followed soon afterwards.
Called Aunt Becky, it was said of her that "she was a woman of great good sense and a remarkably neat housewife." She had a custom of wearing a plug hat. She died shortly before 1827, weighing nearly 350 lbs. when she died. William died in 1827; they were both buried in the Old Shiloh Cemetery about 5 miles NW of Mt. Vernon.
