A resident of Northampton for the past fifty years, William S. Albright, died yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home of his son-in-law, Howard Moyer, at 1545 ½ Tilghman street, this city, in his seventy-sixth year. Mr. Albright had been a patient in the Allentown hospital for a long time and last fall had his leg amputated. Last Saturday he was removed from the hospital to the Moyer home.
Coming from Philadelphia to Northampton, Mr. Albright had lived there for fifty years. He was a painter and paperhanger, had been in the dairy business for a time, and his last business was a grocery store at Ninth and Washington streets, Northampton. He was a member of Grace Reformed church in that borough.
His wife died sixteen years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Albright never had any children of their own but adopted a girl when a baby. Anna Albright, the foster daughter, was married to Howard Moyer, of Allentown, and died five years ago.
Surviving Mr. Albright are six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral arrangements had not been completed last night.
