    As per “Calendar of Inquisitions Post Mortem and other Analogous Documents preserved in the Public Record Office” Vol. VI. Edward II., by the Deputy Keeper of the Records (1910) page 288 ;

    “488. William BANASTRE. Writ of plenius certiorari to Gilbert de Syngleton and John de Horneby, on the petition of Adam son and heir of the said William, that certain lands which the said William held in socage of Thomas, sometime earl of Lancaster, and which are in the king's hand by his forfeiture, may be delivered to him for his sustenance, 10 September, 17 Edward II. [10 Sep 1323]
    Lancaster. Inq. Monday the morrow of St. Vincent the Martyr, 17 Edward II. [Jan 1323/1324]

    Quintingham. 12a. land and 12a. wood in demesne, and a moiety of a carucate of land, excepting 1/6 part thereof, in service, sometime held by the said William of Adam de Frekilton by homage and service of 2s. to a scutage of 40s., who held the same with other lands directly of Thomas sometime earl of Lancaster by knight's service, and whose son Adam was outlawed for the death of Henry de Bury ; by reason whereof, after the death of the said Adam the father, the said earl seized the said tenements into his hand as escheat, by reason of the minority of the heir of the said William.
    Etheleswik. The reversion of a messuage and 3 bovates of land, held of the said Adam de Frekilton the father by homage and service of 22˝d. to a scutage of 40s., seized by the said earl by reason of the said outlawry and minority, after the death of Joan late the wife of Thomas de Singelton who held them for life of the inheritance of the said Adam son of William BANESTRE.
    Claghton in Amundernesse. A moiety held in service, as of the inheritance of Alesia the wife of the said earl, by homage and service of 1/8 knight's fee and 2d. yearly ; 2s. rent in the other moiety held of the prior of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem in England by service of a rose yearly ; and 2s. rent held of the abbot of Cokirsond by service of 1d. yearly.
    Little Singilton. The hamlet held of the said earl by homage and service of doing the office of the bailiwick of the king's serjeanty in the wapentakes of Amundernesse and Blakeburnschire, viz :-executions of the mandates of the king's courts, by writs or summons of the exchequer, executions by command of the sheriff of judgments of the (courts of) the county and wapentake of Ammundernesse, attachments &c.
    Thorneton. A moiety, excepting a moiety of 5 bovates of land, held of the said earl by service of 8s. yearly, and doing suit at the county (court) of Lancaster and wapentake of Amundernesse.
    Billisburgh. A messuage, 22a. land, and a mill, held of the said earl in demesne, and the residue of the town held in service, by service of 2s. yearly.
    Dilleworth. A moiety of the hamlet, held of the said earl in demesne, and the other moiety in service, by free service of 2s. yearly.
    Halghton. 3a. land, and 2s. 5˝d. rent, held of the said earl by service of ˝d. yearly.
    Preston. A messuage, 6a. land, 1a. meadow, and 6s. 6d. rent, held of the said earl in free burgage.
    All which lands &c. came into the king's hand by reason of the forfeiture of the said earl, and not otherwise.
    Adam his son, aged 16 at Whitsunday next, is his next heir.
