  • Note: He [Piers of Savoy] married, after 25 June 1236, Agnes, younger daughter but principal heir of Aymon, LORD OF FAUCIGNY. He died probably 14 or 15 May 1268, at Pierre Châtel, and was buried 16 May in the abbey of Hautecombe. His 4th and last will was dated 7 May 1268, with 2 codicils, 11 and 14 May. His widow died 11 August 1268, and was buried at Contamine in Faucigny. Her 3rd and last will was dated 9 August 1268. On the death of Piers the comitatus of Richmond, so far as it was vested in him, reverted to the Crown. [Complete Peerage X:805-9, (transcribed by Dave Utzinger)]
