The following is copied from Hussey Manuscripts at:
Walter Hussey, believed to be a son of Hugh Hussey, was born about 1118 probably at Sanford manor, Somersetshire. He witnessed a charter regarding the village of Alvington, Staffordshire about 1146, according to "Camden Society Publications. As early as 1156 and until 1172 Walter Hussey held Penkridge manor, Staffordshire. In 1173 the manor was restored to the king, suggesting that Walter Hussey had died or had removed to Ireland.
Children born to Walter Hussey include:
Hugh Hussey born about 1163
NOTE: I have not found Sanford manor in Somerset. I find Tadwick, Somerset was held by the ancestors of Walter perhaps that was where Sanford was.
