Clary Council married Unknown Smith first as the will of Solomon Cherry shows he names the children John and Dakiss (Dorcus) Smith. Clary married Benjamin Whitfield fourth as the settlement of Samuel Cherry shows.

Wife Clary Cherry- lend the land where I now live containing 242 acres, Negroes Jeff, George and Jode, all for her lifetime or widowhood, but if she marries or if it appears she is wasting my property so as to injure the interest of my three or four younger children, it shall be taken in possession by my executor and land and Negroes rented out.
Reversion of property as follows:
daughter Darah Cherry- 100 acres on the south side of Town Creek adj. where I now lieve and Isham Hollamon, being the land I purchased of Bridger Pitt, exceting the orchard which I lend to my wife,
also give daughter Sarah Negro Pinny, and then to Sarah's chidren if any.
Daughter tavithy cherry-Negroes Phillis and Will.
Son Sameul Cherry-land where I now live containins 242 acres, also Negro George when my wife's right is gone.
to the infant which I suppose my wife to be carrying-it is to be called David or Clary and will receive Negroes Jeff, Jede and Orange. remaining estate to John and Dakiss Smith, but it they leave no hiers to return to the thre next younger brothers or sisters.
To Dakess Smith-$75 and cattle commonly called hers. to John Smith-horse and $63. my wife is to support her three or four younger childrne without charge against my estate.
Sons Willis Cherry and William Cherry, daughters-Martha Ross, Elizabeth Manning, Liddy stancill and Susana Cherry-ten shillings each.
