Sir William le Bruyn, of South Ocikendon, &c., son and heir [of Sir Maurice le Brun, d. 17 Mar 1354/5 by Maud, dau. of Philip de la Rokele], aged 40 and more at his father's death. He m. [Complete Peerage II:356, XIV:117]

    (c) In the Scrope and Grosvenor controversy he [Robert de Marny] deposed, 15 Oct 1386, that he was 52 years of age; but as he also stated that he was first armed at the first relief of Stirling (1336), he was more probably 66.

Note: William's father was Maurice 1st Baron le Brun or Bruyn, and William was the son and heir. Yet CP does not give him the title. One of the CP entries under Edmund Haudlo (see my notes under John Haudlo), refers to William's son Ingram as the 3rd Lord Brun, but CP does not here give him a title as well.
