She had been m. 1stly to John, Dauphin of France, who d. in 1417; and 2ndly to John, Duke of Brabant, from whom she fled in 1421. Jacqueline's marriage with Humphrey, which had disastrous effects on the relations between England and her chief ally in the field, the Duke of Burgundy, was made void 9 Jan 1427/8.
