  • ID: I22727
  • Name: Isabel de CLIFFORD 1
  • Sex: F
  • Birth: ABT 1340 in Clifford Castle, Hay, Herefordshire, England
  • Note: Ancestral Roots states that Isabel is the daughter of Robert de Clifford, and refers to a Robert Clifford, b. 1305, d. 1344, as stated in line 82-32. However the line is flawed. It states that Robert married Maud de Clare, which is wrong. According to Magna Charta Sureties, Burke's Peerage, and other lines (205-32 and 64-32) within Ancestral Roots, the Robert Clifford who married Maud de Clare was Robert's father, b. 1274, d. 1314. The Robert de Clifford, b. 1305, d. 1344, married Isabel de Berkeley.
