Richard Beare made his will "December the 4th Anno: Dom 1673". Bequests were as follows:
To "Moses Symons five pounds"
To "John French one cow"
To "Elizabeth French one cow"
Richard French was appointed executor.
The witnesses were Thomas Tilden and Thomas Macomber.
The inventory was taken by "Ensigne Marke Eames and John Bourne this sixth of January 1673" (16 January 1674 in New Style). "William Foard senior", Benjamine Church senior", "William Sherman senior" and Walter Woodworth were indebted to the estate, and it was indebted to "Mr. Arnold".
The will was presented to the court at Plymouth, 5 March, 1673 (15 March 1674, in New Style), on the oaths of the two witnesses, also the inventory, on the oath of the executor.
Richard Bear's residence, not mentioned in the probate records, was at Marsfield.
