    Note: Jean's wife Mary was dsp by him, but supposedly gave Alexander II his son Alexander III.

    Note: John Carmi Parsons, with agreement from Leo van de Pas, in posts to SGM on 4 Sep 1998, suggests that the marriages of Jean Brienne were REVERSED, with Jean being the first wife and Mary being the 2nd wife. I am following his suggestion.
