Marriage: Marriage of Andrew Jackson Warren Kirk to Lottie Hearing in Linn County Marriage Book D.

One of their children was born and died in 1900, according to the following obituary notice from the Eugene Weekly Guard, 8 Dec 1900, p. 1 col. 5: "The particulars of the burning of the child of A.J. Kirk at Brownsville, mentioned Saturday, show it to have been a very unfortunate affair. In the afternoon Mrs. Kirk left her three months old babe in the baby carriage while she went to the home nearby of Mr. Kirk's mother. While she was gone the house was discovered on fire, and it was impossible to reach the child. How the fire started is a mystery, as there was no signs of fire when Mrs. Kirk left home."

    Death: Brownsville Online Cemetery Record: Block 4, West, Lot 16 , 26' x 10' (T.J. Kirk): "Kirk, Andrew Jackson, 1854 - 28 May 1943 [d. age 88y].
