    According to an unsigned 10 page document in the Noble folders at the Kentucky Historical Archives, her father was a wealthy man, and Alexandria, VA was named after him.
    The large estate which they inherited was sold and they moved to Frederick Co., VA, where they purchased the home known as Long Marsh, on the Shenandoah river.
    They were known as having a very attractive home and many slaves.

    Description: Very hard to read, but the 4th from bottom is Mary Ann Noble. I think this is the widow of George Noble. He died in 1800. She died in 1814
