    O. Franklin Holcombe was 77 years old when intereviewed at his home Overland
    Park, Johnson co., Kans. Jan 11, 1934 during the trial of Bruno Hauptman for
    kidnapping and murdering Charles A. Lindberg, Jr.. He stated that he was
    born on the site of the Flemington Court House Aug 31, 1857 when his father
    lived there as Sheriff of Hunterdon (McPherson, op cit, p. 279 col 2). In
    the EGE genealogy his name is Frank Boughite, with August confirmed as the
    month of birth.
