  • Note: Funeral services for Claude Jack Fisher of Knox City were held Monday, October 7, 2002, at 1:00 pm in the First Baptist Church. Officiating were the Rev. John Gillespie, Rev. Paul Chameres and Carol Felts. Burial was in the Knox City Cemetery with Smith Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Fisher, 84, died at the Munday Nursing Center. Born May 12, 1918 in Littleville, Alabama, his parents were the late Louis and Nora Fisher. He has farmed for many years and later was in the real estate business. Mr. Fisher served in the United States Army Air Corps and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Knox City. Survivors include two sons. Danny and wife Linda Fisher of Dallas and Jackie and wife Vivian fisher of Waco; three grandchildren, Deanna Youderian and her children Colby and Linley; Ryan Fisher, wife Cheresse and their child Alexis; and Jacon Fisher; loving companion Allie Rae Mitchell of Lubbock and her daughters Sue Francher and Rhonda Dheoweth. Pallberers were Ken Williams, Willard Skiles, Weldon Skiles, Dwayne Johnson, Jon Godsey, Charles Auburg, Jim Lynn and Boots Walker. Honorary pallbearers were the men's Witness Sunday School Class, Orval Manning, Dorothy Carver, Esther Conn, Henry Jean Jones and Marvin Jones.
