    HERBERT SIDNEY BRAY Herbert Sidney Bray, 74, Kansas City, Mo., diedMonday, April 10, 1995, at a Kansas City,
    Mo., hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be noonWednesday, at Meierhoffer-Fleeman Fu - neral Home;
    interment in B'nai Yaakov Cemetery. The family will receive friends onehour prior to the service. Military services, a t the
    grave, under the auspices of Pony Express Post No. 359, American Legion.

    Mr. Bray was born in St. Joseph, Mo., and had resided in Kansas City forthe past 30 years. Prior to that he had resided
    in Muskogee, Okla., and Albuquerque, N. Mex. He had been owner andoperator of Tammy's Fabric, Lee's Summit, Mo.,
    Modern Fabrics, Leavenworth, Ks., Mid - west Auto Wrecking and AutoSupply and Toy Store, both of St. Joseph. He
    was a member of B'nai Sholem Temple, a life member of Veteran's ofForeign Wars, life member of Disabled War Veterans
    and Muskogee Lodge No. 28, A.F. and A.M. He was a graduate of CentralHigh School and had attended the University of
    Nebraska-Lincoln. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army in theEuropean theatre. He was awarded the Bronze
    Star. He was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Frank Brahinsky andhis parents, Harry and Esther Becker
    Brahinsky. Survivors include his wife, the former Thelma Faye Diamond, ofthe home; a son, Michael Gregory Bray,
    Lee's Summit, Mo.; a daughter, Judith Hope Chapnick, St. Joseph, Mo., andfour grandchildren, Ashley Bray, Haley, Errol
    and Marcus Chapnick. The Family would like to express their appreciationto the staff of the Veteran's Administration
    Hospital of Kansas City for their care and support through the years thathe was their patient.
