Although his daughter Margaret "Maggie" Custer did remarry after the death of her husband James Calhoun, it does not appear that she had any children. None of his sons killed at the Battle of Little Bighorn had any children at the time of their deaths. The only grandchildren were born through his son Nevin Johnson Custer who was married to Ann North.
